DIPS
Low fat: Combine 1 cup of low fat or non-fat plain yogurt with 1 Tbs of mix.
Refrigerate, allowing flavors to blend for at least 1 half hour. Enjoy on celery or wrapped in endive for a quick snack. Adjust seasonings according to your tastes.
Party:
Combine ½ cup mayonnaise, ½ cup sour cream with 1 Tbs of mix and proceed as above.
SALAD TOPPERS
Sprinkle ½ tsp on your tossed salad. Top off with a drizzle of sunflower, olive or walnut oil. Add your favorite nuts for an extra crunch.
For a creamy dressing - try adding a ¼ cup of plain yogurt to ½ Tbs of mix.
SPREADS
Try as a spread- by mixing 1 Tbs of mix with 4 oz. of cream cheese, hummus or goat cheese.
TRY THIS RECIPE
Avocado Dip:
1 ripe avocado (peeled and cubed)
1 hard boiled egg
Garlic clove minced
1 Tbs chopped onion
1 Tbs Hot Chili Cabin Mix
Juice of Lime
Combine the above ingredients in a food processor. Process until smooth. Serve in bowl with your favorite crackers. Pit of Avocado may be placed in center of dip
to help dip retain color.
